Clinical Team
Alisha – Our Director, Principle Podiatrist and Clinical Educator
Alisha graduated Podiatry from QUT in 2005. She has enjoyed practising Podiatry in many different settings; including community care, diabetic care, wound management, home visits and private practice. She settled exclusively into Private Practice 12 years ago. Alisha has a special interest in paediatrics, managing sports injuries and nail surgeries. Alisha considers herself an all rounder with her podiatry skills; she is confident in looking after young adults, Mum & Dad, the Grandparents and also the little ones!
Alisha continues to build her skill set offering Dry Needling, Prolotherapy, Shockwave Therapy, Mobilisation Therapy and various types of Laser Therapy. She is always training up on the latest innovations and equipment to ensure she can offer the very best evidence based treatment options for all her patients. Alisha is also proficient in aesthetic treatments like Keyflex and the Medi Pedi. She strongly believes in feel good and look good, as both concepts have an important psychological impact.
Mum to daughter Amara and Pet Pooch Nookie Bear, she has a busy life both inside and outside the clinic. She grew up with a passion for sports including Swimming and Netball, and in her teenage years she played representative Tennis and coached Tennis during her University studies. These days she loves getting to Pilates and walking Nookie Bear.

Hamish – Senior Podiatrist
Hamish graduated from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2018 with a Bachelor of Podiatry. Since then he has been working fulltime at Footpoint Podiatry offering both clinic and home visit appointments. Hamish treats a wide variety of patients with differing podiatry needs but has a particular interest in sports injuries, lower limb pain and high risk patients.
Hamish has also completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Movement Science at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) graduating in 2015. He utilizes this knowledge to encourage and prescribe patients with exercise that will help them from both a podiatry and holistic standpoint.
Hamish is passionate about providing a high level of quality care and he believes in a multidisciplinary approach for the best possible outcome for his patients. He is always striving to improve his knowledge and skills through different ways including undertaking courses in dry needling, foot mobilisation and manipulation techniques, shockwave therapy, biomechanics and gait analysis.
During his spare time Hamish enjoys hiking, being outdoors and travel. He enjoys daily walks with his Labradane Ollie. Since growing up he has always been involved in sports and used to compete in many different sports with a particular focus on tennis, soccer and running.

Sharon – Medical Reception
Sharon had a successful career within the advertising industry specialising in media and communications prior to making the decision to work in Allied Health.
Having a passion for health and wellness, she has been an integral part of the Footpoint family since 2017. In the role of senior medical receptionist, Sharon leverages her expertise in communication, marketing and administration to manage all aspects of the day-to-day administrative functions within the clinic.
Being a people person, she always provides exceptional patient care and commitment to her role, resulting in the delivery of the best possible outcomes for all clients and patients. Her dedication to health and well-being extends beyond her professional life, as she enjoys yoga, hiking and kayaking.
Debra – Medical Reception
Deb’s career started in Community Pharmacy and after a very successful 21 years she transitioned into Hospital Pharmacy. Here she had further success in a rewarding career pathway and gained even more experience in healthcare.
After 16 years in Hospital Pharmacy, gaining extensive knowledge of the healthcare system through Hospital Pharmacy, Aged care Services and Oncology Services, the next venture was to experience Reception and Administration duties. Remaining in Healthcare with a Community Aged Care Provider for a few years before commencing with Footpoint Podiatry in 2014 to experience Allied Health. Here she has remained as a much loved team member.
Deb is affectionately known as Auntie Deb in the clinic, often providing comfort and assistance to parents and little ones receiving care. She has a strong focus on providing excellent customer service for patients.
Nookie Bear – Footpoint Podiatry Team Mascot
Nookie bear was born in 2011 and has always been the very best of the goodest boys. He graduated from puppy preschool also in 2011.
He loves pats, walkies, playing fetch, roast lamb and warm hugs.
